Please place your wooden toy purchases with us. We're very small and
every sale makes a big difference to us.

Wood Toy Fun is a family owned and operated business. As teenagers we
had a small woodworking business making crafts, selling through craft
shows and friends. We closed our business when we left home for
college, but our love of wooden creations and our entrepreneurial spirit
remained.

Many years later with kids of our own we have learned the importance of
toys in the development of skills. Different toys help develop in different
ways; shapes, colors, letters, dexterity, patients, logic and physics to
name a few. We have discussion with our kids about the skills they are
using to aid the learning process. We are drawn to the toys we sell
because our kids love them, we are pleased with the development
potential of the toys along with the quality and durability of wooden toys.

Why wooden toys? Wooden toys have a quality and feel that plastic toys
don't have and durability. We played with wooden toys that belonged to
our parents when they were kids 20 years before. How many of the
plastic toys sold today will be durable enough last a generation?
