On Christmas Day 2006 we were in Florida watching the weather reports of tornado warnings. The news later reported there had been a tornado in Daytona and several Embry Riddle airplanes were damaged or destroyed. We were within 15 miles of airport when the tornado struck. (too close for me) Several days after Christmas we learned a large number of destroyed Embry Riddle aircraft had been relocated to a salvage area North of Daytona. The pictures below were taken at the savage area. |
